I got that question at 8:25 am yesterday morning. I was in line to register for a Flex conference. Co-worker found me and figured that the best thing to do was to tease me about my lucrative exploration into blog marketing. Little did he know I was fantasizing about that exact topic at that moment…
Well, let’s see. They PayPerPost pays via PayPal – which practically screams eBay to me – and we all know I like sniping on eBay. Closure, schmosure. A month or two more to fill my coffers (30 bucks and counting, baby!) and then it’s summertime and I’m gonna have me a nice new Mambo shirt!
Or maybe, sooner…if we get the right numbers on that lottery tonight. I believe the MegaMillions are over 350 million. I like talking crazy about winning the lottery every now and then. My two favorite topics about it are:
- How much money would I give to various people in my life? I like playing the valuation game with various people in my life. And balancing that with not giving some people money in order to get into those issues where people get bitter for not getting money. Or not getting the same amount. So many ways for people to get pissed at a friend who gets lucky. That whole story about how lottery winners aren’t happy really intrigues me.
- What about getting one number off? I think right now, the CA lottery is 52 million for all the numbers. Then 21k for misisng one number. Then missing 2 numbers takes you down to around 100 bucks. I’d rather be off by 2 numbers than 1 one. Being one number off from a life changing event seems like it would haunt me forever. FOREVER!
Maybe I’ll take this PayPerPost money and go buy some lottery tickets. Or some new Vans…we can’t wear them with the thick socks!
