Joey Chestnut just came up 2 hotdogs shy of winning the hot dog eating contest at Nathan’s. 52 to Kobayashi’s 53.75 in 12 minutes. Perhaps if the Wingettes were allowed in, Joey could have mustered up the willpower to win.
Catherine was inspired by their work. The pre-contest show talking up their 8 or 10 dog minutes inspired her too.
