Brian used to say he used his Palm for reading RSS feeds. I didn’t really see the use. When we were converting him to the blackberry, I had a list of issues from him that needed to be worked out. I think i got most of them. I ended up getting an RSS reader for my blackberry in the process – Viigo.

It’s kind of handy, allowing me to track some blogs during downtime. Their scores modules are pretty broken, but improve a bit each week I try them.

Anyway, it helps me keep up on the blogs – more than having a module on My yahoo, cause I sometimes don’t read things before they fall off the bottom.  Reading Seth’s post on his alternative MBA has me intrigued.  I think I’ll apply just to think about the questions in the application process.  Could I actually take 6 months off to work in NY?  Probably not.  But let’s put that along side the odds of a sports engineer getting accepted…

Anyway, as he draws out the reasons behind taking the approach he’s taking, he highlights that the more energy one puts into an internship the better off both parties are.  And they take a lot of energy to do right.  I suppose that’s true with any relationship.  Just that interns might be the ones that are the easiest to rationalize less effort on…a lesson I’ll take to heart as we continue our internship program.

(Though, we’ve been lucky with our interns so far. Hao’s NFL Playoff Scenario Generator just got launched…)
