SI came early this week. We usually get it on Friday or Saturday. Wednesday was a treat. While “resting” tonight before going back to work, I read up on their Superbowl preview.
When the best defense of one league (Bears in the NFC) plays the best offense of the other league (Colts in the AFC) – oh – all measured by yards allowed or yards gained – the defense has won every matchup. I think there’s only been like 5 or so though.
Colts are 6-0 against teams that the Bears have played. Bears are 3-2….Colts played the Pats twice while the Bears played them once (and lost to them).
I’m actually worried most about special teams. The Bears got that nifty little dude and the last game against the Pats, I got a new pimple every time the Colts had to kick off or punt. Stressful!
But, I think the Colts can adapt and here’s my score prediction:
Colts 31
Bears 13
