We were laughed at during lunch today – because “Parlays” were mentioned.
The laugher though – they buy points against the spread, which is a similar sin.
Anyway – he’s all about full disclosure and after lunch, I got this email:
I just pulled this from covers: I always laugh at threads that have titles like this but this one is legit. I did it in last years superbowl and it worked beautifully. Here is what you do.... You make four prop bet parlays each with 3 props... Pittsburgh to win Coin Toss Pittsburgh to receive ball first and any other prop you want....say Hasselbeck's passing yards over 236.5 then Seattle wins toss seattle receives ball first hasselbeck's passing yards over 236.5 then Pitt wins toss Pitt receives ball first Hasselbeck's passing yards under 236.5 finally Seattle wins toss Seattle receives ball first Hasselbeck's yards under 236.5 Basically, as long as the team that wins the coin toss elects to receive the ball, you win. I think that is a much safer proposition than any other bet on the board A three prop parlay pays 5 to 1, and you make 4 bets, 3 that lose, 1 that wins 5 times your money.
Maybe I’ll win a parlay this weekend…finally. But I’m not sure I’ve seen both (coin flip and possession) on a card…this guy was betting online. Though, I will look harder this weekend.

last line of the page – all teams who have won the toss have chosen to receive.
lots of research has gone into this system.
